The tours are generally up to 15 people, but larger groups can be divided into two groups. A donation of $8 per person is requested for tours. School groups are offered at $3 per student with no cost to chaperones. *Groups may also apply for a reduced admission fee, and no visitor will be turned away due to financial constraints.

Accessibility

Built in 1865 and on the National Register of Historic Places, the Museum does not have an elevator to the 2nd or 3rd floors. Visitors with physical challenges may not be able to visit the upper two floors. A wheelchair ramp is located in the back of the building near the parking lot. Most exhibits on the first floor.

Young children

The recommended age for visitors is age 4 and up and is suitable for most visitors. Some exhibits contain reference to war, guns, violence, racism and social injustice. A children’s room on the second floor is a great place for young visitors to learn about peace.
